 "Wise Choice" 2009-12-04
By J. Navarro (California)
I looked at the various casio watches. I debated many times which one would work best. After reading all the reviews from this watch and all other watches. And searching for pictures online and trying different watches on, I decided this was it. I was right. What a cool freaking watch. Looks good. Has all the function as the other watches. Just perfect. I'm very satisfied. I replaced the band it originally came with because it was plain ugly. Nevertheless, this watch is great. Not too big like the other casio, nevertheless, my next watch will be a bigger case diameter, titanium watch.

 "Fantastic!" 2009-10-20
By Alboren Shtylla (Tirana, Albania)
This is a complitely great watch. With every possible function a watch might have. Every function works very good, and they are so useful functions for everyone, everywhere.

The battery never rans out, it needs a minimal lit to be charged.

Overall, this watch looks great!

"Better getting the PRG 110 model without the atomic time update feature" 2009-08-26
By Jeremy Lee (Singapore)
If the Protrek PRG 110 is available in your area, it is better off getting it than the PAW 1300. the multi-Band 5 Atomic Timekeeping feature is not very useful at all as it will require you to put your watch near a window at night to get a clear signal to update.

With so many of us owning car GPS units, you can easily get the the update by synchronising your watch with the time there instead. GPS time is also synchronised with ground based atomic time keeping facilities.

Both models are identical otherwise in features. The price difference will be what you pay for the atomic time keeping feature. It might not be worth the difference in price.

 "Excellent Watch !!!" 2009-07-02
By G. Belthur (Charleston, SC)
Did a lot of research before betting my money on this one...and it paid off. The watch is very thin compared to its earlier models and functions flawlessly. The orange and black combination is very good. But for day to day use, I prefer a plain nylon band that I bought from [...] # 22mm. The orange band is of solid construction and looks durable. The atomic sync feature works consistently on clear sky nights. The watch needs around 5-6 minutes direct sunlight once in a while. After the first solid charge, I haven't bothered to figure out if it's getting enough light or not..but the battery indicator never moved to M from H. Couple of hours of darkness, and the watch goes to sleep...shake it or expose it to light, and it comes back without missing a beat...Barometer works well and pretty consistent with the weather outside. I haven't had a chance to measure altitude well enough, but looks ok. Compass needs some careful calibration or its easy lose bearings easily. Once I did a full two-direction calibration, it has just worked.

I will probably wear this daily for long long time. Worth every penny.

The price has increased by $[...] since I bought it in early June 2009.

"great watch but don't like the band" 2009-06-18
By Bin Xia (Charlotte, NC)
When I bought it, there's only one straight face picture and i didn't realize the band goes thru the back of the watch (which adds a layer to the thickness of the watch and offsets the slim profile). Now there's multi-angel photoes and you can see the band also has shining holes that don't look elegant to wear in an office environment. And the description still says the band is made of resin but it's more of a cloth type of material.

But the watch itself is very nice so I am keeping it despite the ugly band.
