"Easily readable and function packed display" 2010-01-03
By Graahak (Reston, VA)
This is a feature packed watch that looks great too. It has a very readable dial and the value added stuff (i.e. everything other than the actual time) is displayed in smaller inner dials. It claims to not require exposure to light for 7 months - although I haven't tested this claim myself, nor do I plan to. It's lightweight and fits snugly on my wrist.

"Jumping on the G Shock bandwagon" 2009-11-24
By K-Royt Jam (Chicago, IL USA)
I've had my G Shock AWG100R-1ACR for about a week now, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

This watch has style + really cool functionality. The atomic time is not a gimmick. It actually works!

After taking the watch out of the box and setting up my home city, the watch hands started adjusting themselves to my local time within a couple of minutes. Very cool.

The combination of analog + digital displays makes for a really cool looking watch.

I've yet to really dig in and test all the features of this watch, but with some help from the manual, I'll get there soon.

The only slight negative is that it's hard to see the time in the dark without using the back-light, but I might need to configure some settings to take of that problem.

I'll be travelling with this timepiece soon, so we'll see how it handles the rigors of the road. But for now, my Swiss Army Maverick II has taken a backseat to the G, and at a 1/3 of the price.

 "Can't wait" 2009-11-18
By B. Abriola (WEST COLUMBIA, TEXAS, USA)
I was blown away with the Casio selections up to the high dollar range.

Reading the only review I figured it was time to order something to replace

my black sports watch. In fact I donated three old watches, two of them Casio to

the Goodwill box. This watch has everything I need as well as sport/casual dress

appearance and a never change the battery plus radio controlled. With a two day delivery for less than nine dollars.............. I'm stoked!!!!

Thx, Amazon.

 "Ultimate Watch" 2009-02-19
By dasn0wman (Brooklyn, NY United States)
If you want a watch that has everything, this is it. My previous ultimate watch is the Citizen Skyhawk Titanium. My Citizen has everything this watch has - atomic timekeeping (so you never have to adjust your watch - how cool is that?), solar-powered (so you never have to change the battery - save $$$), standard functions such as countdown, chronograph, day/date, alarm, and then additional cool functions such as world time and back light (to see in the dark). But what sets this watch apart is the design and when I saw it in the store, I knew I have to get it. First of all, it has an analog face - the way a watch you look. None of that digital number face, its ugly. This one has a nice gold interior but you can get one with silver color which is then encased in protective hard plastic. Kind of blending of a formal watch and a sports watch - pretty cool design. The one thing you definitely can't do with the Citizen is throw it around and drop it and still have it working with no scratches. Lastly, it may be isolated or not, but it took me days for my Citizen to pick up the atomic signals and when it came time to change daylight savings time, it took a while for it to adjust as well. I took this watch out of the box and immediately the hands started moving frantically until it finds the correct time. Oh, I almost forget. The Citizen costs over 4x as much as this watch.
