Perfect for rugged adventurers and weekend warriors, the solar-powered Casio Pathfinder men's sport watch is loaded with a digital compass and altimeter/barometer/thermometer--perfect for both mountain trekking and cave spelunking. It also includes tide and moon graphs and moon age data, and is very precise thanks to its atomic timekeeping features. The altimeter offers 5-meter measurements from -700 to 10,000 meters, and it can store altitude, month, date and time data, provide tendency and differential graphs, track cumulative ascent/descent, and sound an alarm when you reach a specified altitude. The watch also has a digital compass with 16 points of measurement displayed on the dial face. Other environmental and timekeeping features include:
- Barometer with atmospheric pressure tendency/differential graphics
- Thermometer
- World Time: 29 times zones (30 cities), city code display, daylight saving on/off
- 5 daily alarms
- 1/100 second stopwatch with 24-hour capacity and elapsed/split time modes and 1st-2nd place times
- Countdown timer with 60-minute range
- Auto Calendar (pre-programmed until the year 2099)
This multi-band radio-controlled watch receives a time calibration signal transmitted from several locations across the globe (the U.S., UK, Germany, and Japan), and it has an auto receive function (up to 6 times per day). You can choose to automatically receive this signal four times a day, or manually update the watch to the atomic clock.

This is by far the best outdoor watch period. The watch does everything(if calibrated) correctly. The build quality is second to none. Extremely rugged. Great size, and not too heavy at all. The features list just keeps going.

Pretty happy with the watch, getting to learn it does require some time unless your familiar with this series already. It's also alot more compact than I thought it was going to be, my last G-Shock sat about half an in off my wrist in height! This Pathfinder paw1500-1V combines features of the Seafinder also. Tough looking, tough acting! I do wish the compass bezel was a bit more tactical and less shiny, but it's nothing that can't be solved with some ingenuity.

I bought this product a 30 days back and after couple of uses I find that the "Adjust" button has gone in. I used this only twice, once to set the time zone and second time to set the alarm. Now it is difficult to use this button. I am halfway around the world now and I don't think there is a chance to replace this. It hurts to realize I lost money on this! I have no idea what has to be done now. I have written to Casio and awaiting their feedback.

This watch follows Casio's penchant for good high tech gear.
The watch which offers the moon phases as well as fish times and alarms is very reasonable priced and offers good features that are useful to anyone.
